An autobiographical tale about overcoming fears,
trusting instincts, finding glimmers
and the magic that can happen when you do.

"The book is absolutely beautiful, just as I expected,
and the message in the story is so meaningful."
- Deborah
The story begins in Bodnant Garden, Wales. I was exploring the beautiful trees and views with my friend. We had a lovely conversation with a sweet couple we met while we had an ice-cream break. I noticed the blackbird in the tree while we sat and rested. He stayed with us, listening in on our conversation of nature, physics and the history of Bodnant.
The trees, the landscape and the connection with nature inspired the story of 'The bird afraid to fly". With thoughts of the past, present, future, decisions made and life circumstances, it all formed into this little tale of trusting your instincts, always moving forward, and finding glimmers and the magic that can happen when you do.
